father's day

Realized the other day that I send more father's day messages now than at any other time in my life.

There's my husband, who even tho he is not the actual father to my kids loves them as if he were.

And there's my son, father to three of the six best looking kids on the planet.

And there's my son-in-law, father to three of the six best looking kids on the planet.

And there's my father-in-law, who has been "Dad" for 17 years.

My brother. My nephews.

The husbands of my friends. The Dads at Church. And all the Dads on my email list.

I've heard it said that it takes only biology to make a man a father, but it takes love to make a man a Dad. I am truly blessed to have so many great Dads in my life. Happy Father's Day, y'all.
